The Olympic Hill Emergency Hub will be hosting a series of Hub Info sessions on August 7th, 28th, and on September 25th at the Lake City Farmers Market, and an Urban Survival Skills Fair located at 1534 NE 145th, which is in the SE corner of the parking lot at NE 145th St and 15th Ave NE in January. The goal of the event is to engage neighbors on the subject of community preparedness. The community participants will gain an understanding of how an emergency Hub works, and why it is necessary, There will also be a Hub Drill where participants will be acquainted with Hub Box contents. In addition, there will be an exercise of a post disaster scenario. The event is free and open to the public.
