About This Grant
The Jose Rizal Jazz Festival is an annual event to showcase and increase awareness of Jose Rizal Park and the need to preserve the park and history of its namesake; to build and reinforce community cohesiveness; to inform community of available resources; to celebrate and share the rich history and talent of Seattle's Filipino community; and to educate and inform the larger community of Filipino culture. The day-long event includes Filipino performers, resource information, crafts and food booths with music throughout the day. The event is open to the general public.
