About This Grant

This project will provide 5 workshops for Afghan refugee women living in and near George Fleming Place Apartments: Child Nutrition, Child Dental Health, Preventive/Routine Care, Women?s Reproductive Health, and Success in Schools. This will enlist experts from Odessa Brown Children?s Clinic, ICHS, and Seattle Public Schools to introduce them to health and school resources in the Othello Station neighborhood; encourage healthy diets and oral hygiene; and explain school-related rules, opportunities, and tips for student success.
