Our nonprofit is partnering with two student clubs at the Foster School of Business to organize a UW-wide case competition that will help promote clean buildings. Commercial buildings in Seattle will have to make major energy upgrades in the coming years to comply with new legislation. We are challenging students from all backgrounds to come up with market ready innovations related to clean buildings outreach and communications. This project will be completed by July 29, 2022.

Community Building at Jackson Park
openFriends of the Jackson Park P-Patch
The purpose of this project is to build community, not just amongst the gardeners at Jackson Park P-Patch, but especially within the community that exists around the garden. We intend to do this by putting a pumpkin patch on the south side of the garden, and a children's garden consisting of pollinator friendly flowers on the west side of the garden. To make this a reality, we will hire a contractor to add two hose risers and bring the P-Patch irrigation system up to current city code. This project will be completed by December 30, 2022.
