This 2025-2026 initiative aims to: ? Cultivate a highly skilled workforce in zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) technology across New York State by training 120 automotive technician instructors from high schools and community colleges over the next two years. ? Standardize EV education, provide necessary equipment and upgrades, and increase ZEV awareness and education. ? Support New York State in meeting its climate goals by facilitating the transition to electric vehicles and preparing the next generation of auto-tech workers.
