The purpose of this NYSDOL TWEF Request for Proposals (RFP) is to support organizations that demonstrate the capacity to increase access to employment for transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary individuals through the promotion of employment equity by striving to ensure full and equal access to training services and eliminate bias and discrimination based on gender identity and expression in the workplace.

Eligibility

Eligible Bidders are not-for-profit (NFP) entities that attest to be Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, Non-Binary, and Intersex (TGNCNBI)-led, TGNCNBI-staffed, or serving TGNCNBI individuals, families, and communities; are able to serve a cross-section of individuals representative of the transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary population in a culturally competent and affirming way; and address and assess the specific social and structural barriers to employment experienced by transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary individuals. Eligible participants are TGNCNBI individuals within New York State.
