About This Grant
The New York Power Authority (NYPA), is dedicated to supporting students by partnering with school districts and community colleges in historically disadvantaged communities near our facilities or assets. Since 2021, we have assisted students through paid summer internships and fellowships that include industry-recognized certifications in energy auditing, HVAC, and drone technology. As an industry partner in the P-TECH program and NYS community colleges our goal is to increase the number of diverse students and students of color who pursue studies and careers in STEM fields.
