Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA)
Funded through the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant, the ACCESS program provides individuals eligible for TANF-funded programs with case management and other support services needed to pursue career goals through higher education. ACCESS provides the following support to low-income individuals: tuition assistance; initial and ongoing assessment, case management, and counseling services; remediation and tutorial services; career counseling and job placement; and two-year career follow-up on graduates.
