About This Grant
Live2Dance Wali Diwali is a celebration of India’s biggest and most joyous festival, Diwali. Our goal is to bring the same energy, vibrancy, and warmth of Diwali to Seattle. To make this happen, we plan to set up a Diwali Mela, inviting local businesses, artisans, and creators to showcase their work through stalls and booths. The event will be filled with exciting carnival-style games, interactive activities, and, of course, lots of music and dance! Diwali is known as the festival of lights, symbolizing hope, joy, and new beginnings. Through this event, we want to spread that light far and wide, fostering a deeper cultural connection in Seattle and beyond. The event will be held at The Sound Hotel located at 2120 4th Ave, Seattle, WA, on October 18, 2025, from Noon to 6pm. The event will be free and open to the public.
