Friends of Music to Build & Sustain Community
Starting in August 2025 and continuing until June 1, 2026, Music to Build & Sustain Community will collaborate with other Seattle community nonprofits to present three youth ensemble concerts and four Latino arts and culture events. Events will feature Latino musicians, composers, and guest artists, performing traditional, classical, and mariachi music. The project will form the Latino Youth Ambassador Ensemble in August 2025. Project concerts and events will feature Ambassador ensemble performances, demonstrating the long-term, real-life impact of music to enrich and sustain community life. The project is free and open to the public.
