Humbows Not Hotdogs! Art, History, Bob Santos CID

About This Grant

ICDA and community are creating public art, interpretive installations, a new community gathering place, neighborhood walking tours, and more to honor beloved and legendary community leader, Bob Santos at Uncle Bob's Place, Interim's newest low income housing project. Uncle Bob's Place is prominently located in the CID and many elements of the public art and installations will be on the outside of the building for all who visit the CID. This effort will enhance the sense of place, culture, history, purpose, and community in the CID and contribute to keeping the neighborhood strong and intact, even in the face of intense displacement and gentrification pressures.
