Chinese American Legacy Artwork Project Committee
Seattle's Chinese American Legacy Artwork Project (CALAP) is working to preserve and share the little-known history of early Chinese settlers in Pioneer Square and the Chinatown-ID. With this funding we will create a digital exhibit, public program, and outreach events to gather and share stories from people impacted by Seattle's anti-Chinese riots and expulsion. The digital exhibit and programs will include stories, history, artwork, and a prompt to take action. This project will be completed by December 29,2023.
