Maple Leaf Reservoir Park Landscaping
About This Grant
The Friends of Maple Leaf Reservoir Park will increase the park's biodiversity to make it more welcoming home for native plants and animals and to provide more enjoyment and beautiful recreation space for the community. Invasive weeds will be removed, expand the tall grass meadow prairie plantings, and plant shrubs and forbs in two rain gardens. The drainage will be improved so walkways not be flooded, and benches and picnic tables will be added to improve access, especially for users from nearby retirement community.
