Prohibition-era murals were recently uncovered during renovation of the Louisa Hotel. This is the only known speakeasy / jazz club from the 1920s with its original murals intact in Seattle. Unfortunately these murals have been damaged by age and fire; the plaster is crumbling and paint peeling. The goal of this project is to is to preserve, restore, and exhibit these murals.
