Jefferson
Jefferson Who Am I? is a theatrical performance based on the relationship between Thomas Jefferson our 5th president and his slave mistress Sally Hemings. The work will be presented on September 29th and 30th of 2018 at the Langston Hughes Center using several artistic disciplines including poetry, art, music and dance and performers of all ages. The project will stimulate healthy conversation on race and equity in American today, through facilitated discussions with the cast. All performances/events will be free and open to the public.
