OCA Greater Seattle
Creation of a safety booklet developed by Chinatown-International District community members and students from the University of Washington. The safety booklet addresses many ways perpetrators take advantage of elderly people; internet phishing, scams, harassment, physical assaults, and/or phony solicitors prey on unknowing seniors. The booklet is created in cooperation with the Seattle Police Department, Chinese Information Services Center, University of Washington American Ethnic Studies department, and Office of Emergency Management. NMF funds will be used to pay for printing and distribution of 1000 booklets on 11/15/2025 at the ID/Chinatown Community Center, located at 719 8th Ave S Seattle WA.
