The Cal Anderson Park Emergency Communication Hub will be hosting two community events, the first on August 12th the "Hub Grand Opening" and the second will take place September 7th "The Urban Survival Skills Fair". Both events will take place at Cal Anderson Park at the Sun Bowl/Patio located at 1635 11th Ave W. The purpose of both events is to empower the Capitol Hill neighborhood with the knowledge and skills in preparedness and disaster training. Relationships and partnerships will be made and community is encourage to participate in the variety of skills trainings at the fair. The event is free and open to the public.
