About This Grant
The Youth Employment Skateboarding (Y.E.S.) program by Skate Like a Girl empowers teens through leadership, mentorship, and workshops while helping them fulfill high school service hour requirements by volunteering in summer events and programs. Our goal is to expose youth to industries connected to skateboarding—from construction and design to teaching and publishing. The funding will pay for Skate Ramp Building & Woodworking Workshop and Designed & Printed SWAG workshop. The anticipated project completion date is 10/31/2025.
