Friends of Bryant Park
The Friends of Byrant Park will install a tennis backboard at Bryant Park’s public tennis courts to promote equity and access for families and individuals who wish to learn and enjoy tennis but may face financial barriers. Tennis promotes health, discipline, and community engagement, but the cost of lessons, equipment rentals, and court fees can be prohibitive for many. A backboard will provide a free, accessible alternative, allowing players of all ages to practice without a partner or costly equipment. This project will be completed by April 30, 2025.
