We are building community around the issue of preparedness. Our team is following the model of the Seattle Emergency Communication Hubs. We will... 1. Host a Hands-on Skills Fair to teach all households to be more resilient 2. Purchase the gear most useful to respond to a disaster in south Ravenna and house it in Ravenna Park 3. Host a Grand Opening to demonstrate to the community how the Hub works and how they can engage. 4. Continue to build our team of volunteers and engage ALL our neighbors to help them be better prepared in the event of a disaster
