About This Grant

Movies By the Tower is a four-movie series every Saturday night in August at Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. Maple Leaf Community Council and Scarecrow Video are teaming up to provide an exciting cinematic experience under the stars, which promises fun and entertainment for the whole community to enjoy. Folks are invited to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Asian and Asian-North American storytelling through four specially selected films. Our primary goal is to foster inclusivity and create an event that authentically represents the diversity of our community. Each evening will also include pre-show music and presentations or activities to give attendees more opportunities to connect with one another.
