City of Seattle — Neighborhood Matching Fund
Whimsy Walks is a curated list of interesting human-made and natural features, compiled on a website as a free service, intended to encourage people to get out and discover imaginative, inspiring, beautiful places in their communities, in the process benefiting from the exercise. Since we launched the Whimsy Walks website last year we have focused on the Ravenna, Maple Leaf, University, Roosevelt and Green Lake and West Seattle neighborhoods. Over the past months, connecting with community leaders in the C.D. and Ballard we have identified several dozen new sites in these neighborhoods, which we need to add to the website.
