People for Pedestrian Streets
The Pike Pine Pedestrian Street Pilot will close 3 blocks of Pike Street to vehicular traffic and implement community activities and performances on 4 Saturday nights in August as an experiment aimed at improving the nightlife experience in Pike/Pine. This grant will fund analysis in September of data collected about how the street is used at these times as compared to normal weekend nights. This analysis will be presented at debrief meetings in September and October.
