The Rainier Beach Community Club will have a series of work parties starting on September 8th through October 7th that will take place at 6038 S Pilgrim St. The aim of the project is to do site improvements to the almost 100 year old building that serves as a neighborhood hub to the Rainier Beach community. There will be interior and exterior painting along with some landscaping of the grounds. The site improvements will provide a welcoming well-kept facility, which the Rainier Beach community will hopefully use for another 100 years.

Rainier Beach Jazz Jams is a neighborhood project that provides an opportunity for local musicians and vocalists to engage with other musicians, neighbors and friends in a once a month live Jazz Jam session. It is FREE to the public and residents of the Rainier Beach neighborhood that enjoy live music are invited to attend. It is open to adults and youth. A House Band comprised partially of volunteer musicians provides the musical support.
